F45 Training North Weston · Suite 1, 2575 Glades Cir, Weston, FL 33327 · Updated October 6, 2026

HYROX is a race you can train for in a class. It is eight kilometres of running broken up by eight workout stations, and the people who finish it strong are the ones who trained running and loaded movement together instead of separately. HYROX Strong runs every Thursday at this studio, nine times a day, 45 minutes, coached.

Thursday — HYROX Strong. 5:30, 6:30, 7:20, 8:15 and 9:10 a.m. · 12:30 p.m. · 5:00, 6:00 and 7:15 p.m.

What a HYROX race actually is

Every athlete does the same eight kilometres and the same eight stations, in the same order, indoors. You run one kilometre, you do a station, you run the next kilometre. Nothing is a surprise, which is what makes it trainable:

After each 1 km runThe station
11,000 m ski erg
250 m sled push
350 m sled pull
480 m burpee broad jumps
51,000 m row
6200 m farmers carry
7100 m sandbag lunges
875–100 wall balls, by division

Loads and the wall ball count change between the Open, Pro, doubles and relay divisions. HYROX publishes the current standards for each one on its own site.

Why the hard part is the handover, not the stations

Most people can do a sled push. Most people can run a kilometre. What breaks a race is doing the second one with a heart rate that never came back down from the first — the stations are placed exactly where your legs are already full. Training for it means getting used to loading a tired body and then running on it again, over and over, which is the shape of a circuit class rather than a gym session.

How the week here builds toward it

HYROX Strong is the Thursday workout, but one day a week is not a plan. The rest of the schedule is what makes that day land:

DayWorkoutWhat it gives a HYROX athlete
MondayIcebergCardio and conditioning — the engine the eight runs come out of
TuesdayEmpireResistance work: the pushing, pulling and carrying the stations ask for
WednesdayFifty FiftyHalf cardio, half strength — the handover itself, rehearsed
ThursdayHYROX StrongThe race's own movement patterns under load
FridayGoatFull-body work, longer efforts
SaturdayVegasThe long team workout of the week

Every class is 45 minutes, every class has a coach on the floor, and every movement gets scaled to the person doing it. The full week, with all the class times, is on the weekly schedule page.

If you have never done a class here

You do not need a race booked, a time goal, or any HYROX experience to take HYROX Strong — it is a regular class on the Thursday schedule. If you are starting from zero, the honest advice is to come on a cardio or a 50/50 day first and take Thursday once the 45-minute format stops being the hard part. What to expect on a first class is written up here.
